Autumn/Winter is just around the corner, so if you’re looking for a few things to add to your wardrobe this season, you’re in the right place! You can find great choices no matter your budget with these things, so get ready to shop and find your new wardrobe favorites.
A Statement Overcoat
First up on our list we have a statement overcoat! Overcoats are great because you can dress them up or down for any occasion, but this season it’s not about the black or nude coats, but the brighter and bolder statement overcoats. We’re talking bright colors like fuschia or emerald, bolder patterns and basically something really out there.
You want to be able to put on jeans and a white tank top, put this coat on and completely bring your outfit to life, making a plain outfit look stunning. Aim for around a calf length as this will provide that bit of extra warmth into the colder winter months. As much as you want to make a statement, try to choose something that you know you will wear and love for years, rather than just this season.
Emerald Jewelry
Moving onto accessories, having a few pieces of emerald jewelry in your collection is a must. Whether you choose costume jewelry, new pieces of emerald jewelry or vintage emerald rings, they will be your staples this season. Emeralds have always been well appreciated in society, not only because of their beauty, but because they represent romance and hope.

Corset Tops
Next up, we have corset tops! If you’re looking for your next going out top, then you’ve got to get yourself a corset top. They are so diverse, so you can wear them with skirts, jeans, shorts and so much more. They give such a lovely shape and are a statement in any outfit, so you can simply put it on and build any outfit for any occasion around it.
We love to style a corset top with a white midi skirt, heels and a clutch for an autumn night out, or with wide leg trousers and a blazer for a timeless look.
Maxi Dresses
Many people reserve maxi dresses and skirts for the summer, but they’re majorly in style this Autumn winter. We’re not talking about the more loose fitting, summery dresses here, but instead bodycon for a stunning look. Take a bodycon maxi skirt or dress, then pair with heeled boots and oversized cropped jumpers for a beautiful outfit that will keep you warm. You can then layer your coats, scarves and hats with this when it’s especially cold.
Or, if you have a strappy maxi dress with a leg split, then wear a pair of tights underneath and a long sleeve turtleneck under the dress too, creating a super cozy yet bang on trend look that you’ll keep coming back to all winter. This is a great hack as you can buy your maxi dresses out of season in the sale and still wear them throughout the winter, helping you to save money on your summer clothes!
Leather!
Last but certainly not least, we have leather! Now, there aren’t many rules here, but all you need to know is to add a couple of leather pieces to your wardrobe this season and you’ll be bang on trend. This might be a leather blazer, leather trousers, a leather corset top, a leather skirt, the world is your oyster!
Classic black leather is often the go to, or mix things up with a nude or tan leather. Of course, if you’d prefer, go for faux-leather that you are very unlikely to tell apart from real leather. Even if you just add a new leather bag to your wardrobe, you will fit right in with the leather trend this Autumn/Winter.
