You should start your mornings as you usually do. For a lot of us that is with a cup of coffee and on our Instagram feed. After you’ve had your 5-minute relaxing sensation, it is time to throw on some clothes and get to the makeup station!
Dress To Impress
Always organize your closet and prep your next day outfit the night before. This way you will know exactly what you’ll be wearing, and then you can color match your makeup based on the outfit. If necessary, you should iron the outfit night before.
However, in case you forget, you can place your clothing item on the ironing board inside your bathroom. While you shower, let the steam from the water work your clothes and sort the wrinkles. You can also purchase a stand-up steamer and never iron again! It will do the magic just fine, no one will spot a thing.
Moisturizer
After you are done with your shower continue with your daily cleansers and moisturizers. Once this sinks into your skin, reach for a tinted moisturizer. Tinted moisturizers can act as primers, light coverage foundations, and they even contain SPF, ideal for additional protection from the sun. Apply 5 dots of this all over your face and blend in with your fingers. This will give out a natural and dewy look.
Highlighter + Powder
No reason for heavy caked on makeup. Instead stick with something luminous, like a liquid highlighter. Apply it evenly on your cheekbones and on your chin. Always go for a soft and simple look. No co-worker, boss, or teacher will love bold and bright colors early in the morning. Take your trusted shadow palette and dig into any nude or brown shadow.
