The cinnamon is not just a healthy spice, but also a reliable alternative of the commercial chemical products for hair lightening. Not only that it will lighten your hair, it will also make it silky, soft and shinier. By using the following cinnamon mask you will strengthen your hair and make it grow faster. The cinnamon is a unique spice, rich with many vitamins and antioxidants.
You can get the best results if you have a blond hair and with only one treatment you can get the wanted results. The brunets will have to be more patient and repeat the procedure few times to get this effect. With some hair types you may not get results at all, but this happens rarely. Anyway this hair mask can’t harm your hair. After this treatment, your hair will have a soft and silky structure without a doubt.
For this cinnamon hair mask you will need:
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp cinnamon
- 5-6 tbsp hair balsam
This is a recipe for a long hair, so if you have a shorter hair than make the mask dividing the ingredients in half.
Preparation of the cinnamon mask
In a bowl mix the honey and the cinnamon. Mix with a moderate speed so the ingredients can combine nicely. When you will get a nice mix add the hair balsam or regenerator and combine the ingredients all together.
Wash your hair and leave it for 15 minutes to dry. Then divide it in strands and with a brush for hair dying apply the mask on both sides of every strand. If you feel more comfortable, you can do this with hands as well. Be careful not to touch your face skin, because the mask can cause temporary irritation. Also avoid applying the mask on your scalp.
After you are done, lift your hair up and make a bun. Than cover your hair with a plastic bag and a towel. Leave the mask for 30 minutes and then remove the towel. Leave the plastic bag for another 4-5 hours and then wash your hair with warm water. If you are not satisfied with the results and you want to make your hair even lighter, than repeat the treatment again.
If you have very dry hair, you can add one tbsp of olive oil in the mask as well.
